PET POLICY FAQs

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed at the Ojai Valley Inn. To ensure the peace and tranquility of all guests, we ask for your assistance with the following:

  • Pets must be leashed at all times while on the property.
  • In order for housekeeping to service your guestroom, you must be present or the pet must be removed from the room.
  • Dogs are not to be left unattended while on the property or in guestrooms. If your dog is left unattended and barking occurs, we may interrupt your resort activities or services.

If there is any damage to the room caused by your pet, the cost of repairs will be charged to your account. You will also be responsible for any compensation given to other guests staying on the property due to a disturbance caused by your pet and this will be charged to your account. The pet owner hereby represents to Ojai Valley Inn that their pet is not inclined to bite, and that in the event that their pet bites causing injury while on the Inn premises, the owners hereby agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless the Inn from any liability which the Inn may incur, including but not limited to, reasonable attorney fees, relating to such dog bite.

Do you have a pet fee?

Yes. There is a $300 non-refundable cleaning fee, per pet, per room. $300 for second pet, with a 2 pet maximum per room.

Do you have pet-free rooms for those with allergies?

Yes, the Ojai Valley Inn has designated rooms that do not allow pets.

How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?

Grass areas are designated throughout the resort. Please remember to pick up after your pet.

Where are pets restricted?

Dogs are restricted from the following areas of the resort:

  • Golf Course
  • Spa Village
  • Pool Areas
  • Olivella
